*This is the finale of the Guardians and the Realms series and is not meant to be read as a standalone title*
As the ruling God of Thule, Hroarr’s priority is the survival of his world. Gifted with the ancient ability of sjá, he has seen the birth and destruction of hundreds of worlds. This incredible power comes at an enormous cost, yet its toll seems to ease in the presence of a hauntingly seductive healer from Earth.
Sirena’s life is comprised of duty. Duty to her Guardian family, to healing those of her world and, most of all, the overwhelming duty to right the wrongs of her secret and vile bloodline. With everything on her plate a ruthless warlord God from another world is the last thing she needs, no matter what fate and her heated body demands.
Will a dark Destroyer of Worlds bring upon the end of Earth and Thule or will two strong-minded beings fight and discover their own eternal ecstasy?
Warning: Take one possessive, dirty talking Warrior God and one smart, no nonsense Healer; combine and shake things up for explosive results and scorching content meant for mature audiences!
Fair warning, this is the final book in a series of 10. If you haven’t read the series yet, for the love of paranormal books, get to it. This is an erotic paranormal series not to be missed. Now that is done, I’ll get to my normal warning about this author’s books and move on.
Warning number 2, if uber alpha Gods, (I’m talking way worse than the other guardians in his mine-ness), a sassy smart tongued healer, lots and I mean lots of soul destroying sex, sexy alpha males, conniving cats and have I mentioned hot sex, don’t float your boat then keep on browsing because this is sooooo not he book for you.
Now that is out of the way, who else is beyond ready to finally see a certain healer in Sirena get her HEA in the final (sobs, why oh why) instalment of the Guardians of the Realms series, Eternal Ecstasy. I know I was and let me tell you, does she ever get her well-deserved HEA. I don’t know how she walks every morning after that HEA, 😉
I am going to be honest and say that it took me a while to warm up to her hero, Hroarr because I was worried that no one would be perfect for one of my favourite characters, but in the end he won me over, damn it and made it okay that the original series of the Guardians was coming to a close.
A lot happens in this book and I do mean a lot. So much that it makes it hard to write this without giving spoilers away. Let’s just say that lots of storylines that have been heading toward this book come to fruition and that there are going to be lots and lots of gasps and no’s uttered while reading this book. I know this because it happened to me and I’m still playing some scenes over in my head because I couldn’t believe it happened.
Add in a hot happy ever after for Sirena and Hroarr that picks up directly after the WTF inducing moment at the end of Devine Ecstasy, followed by one hell of a way to start a book scene and you will be left with a book hanger over that is totally worth it.
This book also wraps up another important storyline for one of the other Guardians and it was an ovary tingling resolution that still has me grinning over it. Think a little bundle of joy that instantly has everyone wrapped around said bundles tiny finger.
