5 Star Review – Tempt The Boss by Natasha Madison

5 Star Review – Tempt The Boss by Natasha Madison

Going back to work was supposed to be a painless transition, but when my new boss turns out to be an arrogant, cocky jerk, he quickly turns my professional life into a world of torture. Okay, fine, calling him an asshat before knowing he was my boss wasn’t my finest moment. Hating him should be easy. I just never counted on him being so gorgeous or charming when he’s not annoying me.

I expected my new assistant to be professional and punctual, but all I’m getting are dirty looks and rude comments. I should fire the little hellion, but instead all I can think about is bending her over my desk and breaking every rule I’ve ever made for myself.

One look. One touch. One night. If we break the rules, our lives will never be the same again.

Good thing rules were made to be broken. And besides, it feels so good to Tempt the Boss.

Fair warning, reading this book may result in any of the following: laughing uncontrollably, giggle-snorting, guffaws, laughing till you cry, horniness, hot flashes and a desperate need to find yourself an uber hot boss.

Now that that’s out of the way, we can get down to business. OMG this book!!! It was freaking awesome, I loved it. I admit to being a newbie to Natasha Madison, but after this….say hello to snapping up her backlist and indulging. How have I not read this author before?

Tempting the Boss is so fun it should be illegal. Seriously, even the tender moments had me laughing or giggling. There are parts of the book where I had to put it down because it was too hard to read while it was jiggling up and down due to my laughter. Once I stopped laughing, I would pick the book back up only to start laughing all over again. Especially a scene involving itching powder, 3 men and a hospital visit. I laughed till I cried and then couldn’t stop for half an hour because I kept setting myself off again thinking about it.

But it’s not all shits and giggles, there is also a cute love story mixed in with the office shenanigans. Austin and Lauren will scorch your ereader as they fight the attraction that burns hot with extended foreplay and when the tension snaps…….4 alarm fire hot.

I’m trying so hard to not give stuff away and it’s killing me. This book had me swinging between fits of laughter and being hot and bothered. But all through it I fell for these characters that while so very different are undeniably perfect for each other.

Not to mention the side characters who at times almost steal the book. Just wait for Lauren’s daughter Rachel, she is fantastic. Oh and Noah, sigh…

I’m already fighting the urge to pick it up and read it again. This book has found a place in my comfort read keeper shelf and I can’t wait to go back a dive in again.

If you love contemporary romantic comedies, run, don’t walk and snap this book up.

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
