But when Quincy meets not one, but two perfect guys, she has to make a choice. In doing so, she might forfeit the relationship she secretly longed to find.
Declan. Sweet, handsome, and perfect. He makes her feel cherished for the first time in her life.
Brody. Sexy, hot, and irresistible. He could tear down her carefully built walls.
Before she can become the woman she wants to be, Quincy will make mistakes. And suffer one unimaginable loss
What do you do when you have to choose between one thing or another? What do you do when the choices you make aren’t always what’s best in the long run? What do you do when some choices you make will haunt you for the rest of your like?
Well this is something Quince the heroine of this book has to face. Not only does she have to choose what her heart wants vs what her mind wants, but she had to deal with feelings that overwhelm her and actions she chooses that pile up on her conscience.
“It’s about the choices you make. If you hold on long enough, have enough faith, all things are possible.”
Choices is the story of Quince a young naive girl who moves from a small town to attend college with her best bubbly friend. Once in college she meets two hot frat guys and things get complicated for this quiet, laid back girl, who was never the dating type, so when she finds her self smitten by the attention of two hotties her choice for what to do, who to pick wont be that easy for her.
Both Declan and Brody have their own charm, their own spark, and they both find a way into Quince’s heart. Needless to say Quince is confused between what feels safe, comfortable and what makes her heart and body flutter. Declan and Brody both have a different effect on her, she just needs to see what she is willing to compromise, what she is willing to give up.
Choices is much more than a girl confused by two guys. There is a deep secondary theme in this book of mental illness. It is a very touching yet heartbreaking to not only the character but for the reader as well.
A choice Quincy makes will plague not only her mind and heart but it will break her to a point where guilt will eat at her, and she will be forced to make yet a new choice and give up something that was blooming in her heart and life.
“Guilt is a funny thing. At first, it eats you alive. But as time goes on, it becomes easier to live with. The fear of losing something special, though, it never fades away.”
Fast paced enjoyable read!
