Keep Calm and Let Dorian Ruin You

Dark Light Playlist  Music Note

Dorian looks at me with hooded eyes and licks his lips. The sight of the pinkness of his tongue spikes my breathing and my own lips part reflexively from the excitement. As if I have given him some carnal signal, he slowly, deliberately bends his head down and places his soft, full lips on mine.

Song:

Secret by Maroon 5

I’m sure we will, bitch. “You too, Aurora,” is all I can muster without sounding totally fake.

Song:

Don’t Trust Me by 3OH!3

“Now that you’ve come all this way to see me, what will you do with me?” he asks in a low, raspy voice. It’s the first words he’s uttered since my arrival yet we have already said so much. I know the taste of my pleasure has affected him. He wants this just as bad as I do.

Song

Criminal by Fiona Apple

Dorian quickly grabs our plates and glasses and sets them on the buffet. He then sits back down in his chair, beckoning me to come to him with his finger. I do as he wishes and stand in front him. He slides his firm hands up the back of my thighs, massaging the base of my ass before suddenly lifting me up and setting me down on the edge of the table.

Song:

Pony by Ginuwine

“I feel like I’m losing myself,” I finally croak. Jared remains quiet, letting me finish my thought. “I just don’t know anymore. I just want to fast forward to when I know who the hell I am. I want to just get this shit over with already!” The tightness in my throat restricts any more words from escaping and I nuzzle my face into the comfort of Jared’s firm chest.

Song:

Who You Are by Jessie J

“IS. THIS. WHAT. YOU. WANT?!” he grunts through clenched teeth. When I don’t answer he pulls my hair harder, pushing himself even deeper. I didn’t think it was possible.

Song:

Closer by Nine Inch Nails

Dorian bends forward and plants a deep, tender kiss on my lips, erasing the feelings of unease and disbelief. He tastes and smells of the sweet, strong liquor.

Song:

One in a Million by Aaliyah

The edge is so close, and I want to let myself fall. I want to fall with Dorian.

Song:

Stay by Rihanna

(This song reminds me so much of their relationship.)

Then Dorian coolly turns to his old flame and companion and utters in this unnamed tongue, “Yes.”

Song:

Secret by The Pierces

The alluring man in the photograph is no stranger to me.

Song:

Diary of Jane (Acoustic) by Breaking Benjamin

Dark Light

Synopsis

Love. Sex. Magic.

Before her 20th birthday, Gabriella was pretty much clueless about all three. In love with her best guy friend since the age of 14 and too crass and intimidating for most of the male population of Colorado Springs, love and good sex were virtually a myth.

And then there’s magic. Freakin’ magic. There’s no way that legend could have a place in her less than exciting life. So why after twenty years of utter obscurity do her adopted parents hit her with the ton of bricks that is her true identity? And how the heck is she supposed to accept all this and become what she was truly created to be?

Lucky for Gabs, sexy as sin Dorian is more than equipped to help her embrace these new revelations. And while everything about him feels oh so good, she soon learns that there’s more behind his crystal blue eyes, chiseled body and exotic beauty. Something dark, menacing and downright unnatural. Yet Gabs is in way too deep to even try to turn away from him now.

Dark Light, Book 1 of the Dark Light Series, is the raw, emotional story of a young woman’s journey of self-discovery in a world that was not meant for her. And her scorching hot, lip-biting addiction for the man she can’t deny, no matter the cost.
*Contains strong adult content.
