Jodi Ellen Malpas (Author of the This Man Trilogy) chose Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund as her charity for this event.
This is what she had to say about it…
“Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund primarily aims to make a positive difference to the lives of children suffering from cancer or leukaemia by offering practical, financial and emotional support to the whole family.
The majority of my readers will be mothers. I am, and I’m thankful everyday for the health and wellbeing of my boys. Some parents are not so lucky and face a massive struggle every day to defeat the crushing reality of their child being diagnosed with cancer. The Lennox is a small charity with a team of volunteers who raise money to make the lives of these children and their families as easy and as ‘normal’ as possible when they are battling cancer.
Funding for future cures is something I support too, but helping those who are suffering right now is just as important.”
