Excerpt From Utterly Loved by Kat Bastion

Today we have the privilege of presenting a poem from Kat Bastion, an author, poet, and  friend. “Utterly Loved” Kat’s poetry compilation is a work of true love and compassion.  Not only are her words truly beautiful but Kat is giving all proceeds of this book to charity. Thank you very much Kat for your generosity of spirit.  We feel very blessed to feature on our blog such a beautiful act of kindness and charity.

Storm building
Heat rising
Darted glance
You feel the same

Heart racing
Breath panting
Stolen chance
I throw the game

Deep aching
Eyes pleading
No mercy
You’re in the lead

Slow touching
Warm rushing
So sultry
I’m lost in need

Lips gasping
Back arching
Your body
Pulls mine undone

Cries rasping
Waves crashing
My body
With yours as one
